Cyberfeminism and the Fourth Wave of the Feminist Movement in America

We kick off an exciting Fall semester with Honors student Lani Roe’s hypermedia essay “Cyberfeminism and the Fourth Wave of the Feminist Movement in America.” The essay starts with a concise history of the four waves of feminism before embarking on a media-rich tour of current issues in feminism and sexualities from an intersectional approach as it has both played out and been shaped by today’s new media platforms. Simultaneously celebratory and critically incisive, Lani’s hyperessay is a “must-view,” as are the many media resources and other essays it links to.
